On January 31, 2019, a motorcycle accident occurred on US 19 in Hudson, Florida. A motorcyclist was killed and the busy Pasco County road was shut down for some of Thursday morning. At an estimated 9:15 am, the investigators of the Florida Highway Patrol stated that the motorcyclist, of Holiday, Florida, was driving a 2011 Suzuki on US 19 heading northbound. The driver of a 2013 Hyundai Tuscan, of Spring Hill, Florida, was driving down US 19 heading southbound.
The driver made a left turn at Denton Avenue in the path of the motorcyclist. The right side of the vehicle hit the front of the motorcycle. The motorcyclist passed at the scene of the accident. The investigators of the Florida Highway Patrol said that the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet.
